Day 1 / 31 Dec, 25 Cochin – Alleppey (1 Night)

As your much-awaited journey with Veena World begins, here’s how your first day will unfold based on your selected tour departure:

Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure)

Guests who have opted for the Mumbai to Mumbai tour should report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Domestic or International Airport, Mumbai, three hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, your Veena World Tour Manager will meet you and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or the sightseeing spot, as per the itinerary.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World

If you are joining the tour from any part of India or overseas by making your own arrangements, please ensure you receive complete guidance for a smooth arrival, hotel check-in, or joining at the sightseeing point.

Your Veena World Travel Advisor and Tour Manager will coordinate and guide you accordingly. The Tour Manager will meet

you directly at the first destination, as per the itinerary shared with you.

Important Notes:

• For Joining & Leaving guests, flight tickets and airport transfers are at your own cost.
• To avail of the group airport transfers:
• Your arrival airport must match the scheduled group arrival airport.
• Your arrival time should be at least one hour before the scheduled group flight arrival time.
• On the last day, your departure flight must be scheduled after the group’s flight from the same airport in order to avail the group airport transfer.
• Hotel Check-in Time in India: Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM (12:00 hrs) or later.
• If your flight arrives in the morning, we include a sightseeing activity before check-in to make the most of your time.
• In case of flight rescheduling—arriving earlier on the first day or leaving later on the last day—Veena World will take care of additional meals or snacks, if any.
• We recommend keeping your travel documents, valuables, and money safe during the tour.
• Always keep Veena World emergency contact details and your Tour Manager’s mobile number with you during the journey.

Upon arrival, we proceed to Alleppey – known as ‘the Venice of the East’. Today we have a short Meet & Greet session.

Day 2 / 01 Jan, 26 Alleppey – Periyar (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Periyar. En route we enjoy the famous Kerala Backwaters ride and admire the scenic sites of lush paddy fields and coconut trees as we sail. Upon arrival in Periyar, we have free time for shopping at Kumily Spice Village. In the evening we enjoy Kalaripayattu show- an Indian martial art. Further we also enjoy Kathakali show - is one of the oldest theater forms in the world.

Day 3 / 02 Jan, 26 Periyar – Munnar (2 Nights)

Today we visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - one of the popular national parks in India and famous as an elephant and tiger reserve. It is home to around 35 species of mammals like tiger, Indian elephant, gaur, sambar, wild pig, Indian giant squirrel, jungle cat, etc. We explore this wildlife sanctuary by sailing in the Periyar Lake. Later we proceed to Munnar – Munnar is well known for its lush green hills and tea plantations.

Please Note: Periyar Boat Ride is subject to Availability. In case of non-availability, alternative sightseeing will be provided.

Day 4 / 03 Jan, 26 Munnar

Today we enjoy speed boat ride at Mattupetty Dam near Sunmoon Valley, followed by a visit to Echo Point and Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park (subject to security permission).

Day 5 / 04 Jan, 26 Munnar – Cochin (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Cochin – Popularly known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. Upon arrival we visit Chinese Fishing Nets and St. Francis Church at Fort Kochi - one of the oldest European churches in India which has great historical significance. Later we proceed to Muttancherry, here we visit the Jewish Synagogue - oldest active synagogue

in the Commonwealth of Nations, Dutch Palace - one of the finest examples of the Kerala style of architecture.

Group Guests:

Guests traveling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the group’s departure time.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:

J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes.

If your flight timing and airport match the group’s, you may join the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.
